Gross Motor Exercise 13 – Kick to the Wall and Stop

You’ll need per child:

  • 1 Soccer Ball
  • 1 Wall

Set Up 

Children stand 3 meters from the wall with a ball each

How it works

Children have to kick the ball into the wall and the stop it with their foot as it bounces back

Simple Steps

  1. Children stand facing the wall with a ball at their feet.
  2. Encourage the children to pass the ball into the wall, then stop the ball and hold the ball with their feet as it bounces back

Increase the degree of difficulty by standing the children further back
