Gross Motor Exercise 16 –  Slow and steady wins the race –  Dribbles

You’ll need per child:

  • 1 Soccer Ball
  • 1 Line or rope

Benefits

Set Up 

In chalk or using masking tape make parallel lines on the ground 5 meters in length

How it works

Children must dribble the ball at their feet along the line without stopping the ball. The last person to finish wins the race

Simple Steps

  1. Set up the lines
  2. One child per line with a ball each
  3. Children are encouraged to dribble the ball from one foot to the other along the line
  4. The slowest person wins
