This term, GrowFit will once again go purple! GrowFit is partnering with the Alannah and Madeline Foundation to help raise toothpaste!
We believe every child deserves the best chance possible in life for a safe and happy childhood. We also believe our kids deserve a happy, healthy CLEAN smile at all stages of their life. That’s why we’ve chosen to collect toothpaste for kids in need.
Why toothpaste? Toothpaste is essential for everyday hygiene. Children who are unfortunate to find themselves in a domestic violence situation often flee with nothing but the clothing on their backs. They are then unable to have the daily basics of things such as toothpaste. That’s where Alanah and Madeline foundation come in and provide Buddy Bags! Buddy bags are a tool to help children transition from domestic violence to a happier life. In these bags are things such as;
⦿ Teddy bear
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is one of Australia’s most respected children’s’ charities, dedicated to protecting children from violence and its devastating impact.
Since 1997 they have helped send out just over 72,000 buddy bags to children aged 0-6 years who have been affected by violence. A Buddy Bag gives a child in need essential toiletries, pajamas, and a comfort bear to cuddle. We need your help to supply them with toothpaste!
Our goal? To raise toothpaste containers for as many kids as we can!
Unfortunately, toothpaste if a product that seems to be one of the hardest to obtain to give to children in need. So, we want your help!
