In agreeing to attend a GrowFit class I:

  • Release and forever discharge GrowFit from all claims that I may have or may have had arising from, or in connection with, my child and a GrowFit program; and
  • Indemnify, will keep indemnified and hold harmless GrowFit, to the extent permitted by law in respect of any claim as a result of or in connection with a GrowFit class.

I warrant that my child has not at any time suffered blackout, seizure, convulsion, fainting, dizzy spells or any other medical condition and is not presently receiving treatment for any illness, disorder or injury which would render it unsafe for my child to take part in a GrowFit class. I have read and I consent for my child to participate in a GrowFit class and understand the risk involved and further agree to be bound by the GrowFit’s Code of Conduct and operating rules.

I acknowledge that GrowFit uses its best endeavours to ensure that the equipment and sporting facilities used in the program are safe and fit for the purpose and acknowledge that all sports are inherently dangerous. I have voluntarily read and accept the inherent associated risks.

All Classes

Weather policy

Centres are encouraged to make space inside their centre where possible during rainy and hot days. If the centre cannot provide a safe location for the class to be run we will be forced to cancel the class for the day.

Due to the unforeseeable nature of the weather GrowFit can provide up to two make up sessions each term due to heavy rain or temperatures that exceed 35 degrees.

 

Make-up class policy

If your GrowFit trainer is unable to attend a centre for any reason, a makeup session will be held during the school holiday period. This time will be arranged at the convenience of the early learning centre.

We are unable to offer make up sessions for reasons not caused by GrowFit.

 

Timetable changes

All classes are subject to change. While GrowFit uses its best efforts to operate classes as per the timetable published on this website, in some instances changes are required due to fluctuations in demand. No guarantee is made that classes will run per the timetable. Any changes required will be communicated to those affected prior to the date classes commence.

 

Privacy Policy

GrowFit is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you or your child, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us; that’s all. GrowFit uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Growfit only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.

Whenever you use our website, or any other website, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its “IP address,” and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.

We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

You are able to visit our website without disclosing any personal information to us. If you purchase from us or choose to provide your personal information to us, we will only use this information for purposes you have agreed to. Unless you indicate to us that you do not wish to receive marketing material, such a request can be made to our head office. Other than this, we will not give your personal information to anyone without your approval.

Data Breaches

Due to the amendments to The Privacy Act in February 2017, GrowFit will provide notice to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (formerly known as the Privacy Commissioner) and affected individuals of any data breaches (ie. data leaks) that are “likely” to result in “serious harm.”

Parent Paid Classes

Each term costs $11.50 +GST  per class multiplied by the number of weeks in the term.

Payment is in two five week blocks per term. The first debit is in week 1 of term and the second debit is in week 6 of term. Once term has commenced only enrolled children will be able to participate in our sessions.

Unfortunately, we cannot take casual bookings or pro-rata weeks you may be away (unless 3 weeks or greater). Please refer to our make-up class and refunds policy for missed classes. 

Enrolment is assumed for the whole year so there is no need to re-enrol at the start of each term.

If you need to cancel enrolment before the end of the year you can do so by emailing info@growfit.com.

All enrolments and direct debit agreements will be cancelled at the completion of each year.

 

 

Refunds Policy

 We are unable to provide refunds for sessions missed due to minor illness or short term holidays. If your child has an extended illness or injury (missing 3 weeks or longer) we are happy to provide a refund or credit once a doctor’s certificate is provided.If you are taking a holiday for 3 weeks or longer please notify us before the beginning of term so your payment amount can be altered. We are only able to vary this in very exceptional circumstances.

 

New Enrolments during term

If your child begins attending the centre after the GrowFit term has commenced you will only need to pay for the sessions remaining in that term. Please email info@growfit.com.au to advise the starting date of your child.

GROWFIT COVID POLICY – UPDATED 22/11/2022

GrowFit have implemented the following procedures to ensure we are following Australian Government standards of hygiene and safety regarding Covid 19.

AIM

Is to​ ​ensure all employees and families implement appropriate risk management procedures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and reduce the potential for the illness to spread. 

In this current environment we believe we can do our job safely and effectively because we have instated the following procedures.

COVID VACCINATION

The Public Health Orders the NSW Government have released indicate that anyone working in Childcare centres, OOSH and schools now need to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 by November 8th 2021. All GrowFit trainers will be fully vaccinated before entering any service. Certificates will be issued prior to entry. 

COVID TESTING 

If team members  have cold or flu like symptoms, such as a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or runny nose, even if these are mild, they will get tested for COVID-19 

CHECK IN

GrowFit trainers  will  QR code check in on entering each service. 

STAFF HEALTH ASSURANCE

1.​ ​GrowFit trainers have been provided with a mask to wear while on your premises. They will wear their mask unless your educators prefer them not to and advise them accordingly and follow any other procedures your service has in place. 

2.​ ​We have provided every team member with hand sanitizer to be applied before and after every single session.

3.​ ​Team members have been advised to follow all current Government guidelines regarding close contacts, symptoms and isolation periods.

COVID CLEAN OUR EQUIPMENT

1.​ ​All equipment is returned to our HQ and cleaned with alcohol over the break.

2.​ ​We have provided every team member with alcohol spray and wipes to clean the equipment after each session.

3.​ ​We have employed an equipment manager whose job it is to ensure every piece of our equipment is COVID CLEAN

EDUCATE

We’ve trained up our team to ensure these practices are upheld to the best of our ability. This will continue until further notice.
